Pavel Matela - courses in czech, head of school
Pavel is a professional photographer and an experienced photography tutor. He studied photography at the Silesian Univerzity in Opava, at J. E. Purkyně Univerzity in Ústí nad Labem and at the University of Derby. As a tutor, he emphasizes the importance of understanding the links between the formal side and content of pictures. His artistic production concentrates on non-traditional ways of use of photographic image. He focuses on contemporary art and he experiments with the posibilities of photography.
Todd R. Forsgren - courses in english
Todd is a American photographer whose art work focuses on scientific and ecological themes. This work has taken him across the U.S. and Caribbean as well as to Asia and Europe. He was a 2007-08 Fulbright Fellow in Mongolia and his work has been exhibited by the Jen Bekman Gallery in NY, NY and Carroll & Sons Gallery in Boston, MA among other places. Todd is currently a masters student at J.E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
